Twice a night the Supertree Grove lights up in time to music, and the best seat is the ground beneath the trees.
Garden Rhapsody plays at 7.45 pm and 8.45 pm every evening, a free light-and-sound show played through 68 separate speakers placed around the Grove. Lie back on the paving or find a bench beneath the Supertrees, look up and let the canopies pulse overhead. Themes change about monthly, and the Supertree lights switch off at 11.30 pm. There is no ticket and no booking.
Arrive by 7.30 pm for a spot under the trees; a small mat helps. After the 7.45 pm show, walk across to Marina Bay Sands for Spectra at 9 pm and you have seen both of the bay’s free shows in one evening. From 27 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 the show becomes a Christmas Special, and ticketed events can bring admission charges to the Grove.
