At Bird Paradise, in the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, you walk inside the aviaries themselves, among birds flying free around you.
Bird Paradise is one of six attractions in the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, alongside Singapore Zoo, the Night Safari, River Wonders, Rainforest Wild Adventure and the indoor Exploria. The reserve lies on the northern edge of the Central Catchment's forests, and Mandai calls this Asia's largest bird park. Its walk-through aviaries are full of free-flying birds, and a tram or shuttle, included in admission, helps you get around the park.
It is open daily from 9am to 6pm, with last entry at 5pm, which makes it a natural afternoon before the Night Safari opens at 6pm; a 2 Attractions Destination Pass covers both in one day. The M2 Khatib Shuttle runs from Khatib MRT, and the free M1 East-West Shuttle links the two halves of the reserve.
